Founded in 1999, MontaSurfSchool is a surf school for surf, longboard, stand up paddle, tandem and bodyboard, run by surfers and aimed at giving the spirit of surfing to everybody.
Whether you have never touched a surfboard or are experienced but ready to move to the next level, whether you would like to learn to longboard, shortboard, tandem surf or bodyboard, we have the instructors you need.
We believe surfing is for everyone, all ages, male or female, all walks of life and abilities. We therefore try to cater for as many types of surfers as possible, with various events, rentals ( boards and wetsuits), courses, lessons, coaching and other surf related activities.
Situated in the heart of the Medoc towards the northern reaches of the Gironde, we are just two minutes walk from the centre of the village of Montalivet on the Atlantic Coast of south west France.
Would you like to learn how to stand up paddle when you are in the Médoc region or do you need to rent a SUP when you are in Vendays-Montalivet? PLEASE NOTE THAT All our lessons include board, paddle, wetsuit, insurance, warm up session, coached and supervised practice sessions and action.
