Situation Surf and Sup School

The Montalivet surf school is seated on the west coast of France between the beaches of the Atlantic shoreline and the Gironde Estuary 88km from Bordeaux and 560km from Paris.

Train: From Boreaux - conection Lesparre-Medoc.

Car from the north: Arriving via the Royan Pointe-de-Grave Verdon ferry, head in the direction of Bordeaux on the N215. After 25km you will come to a cross road; signposted left to Queyrac and right to Vendays-Montalivet on the D102. At the roundabout in the village of Vendays-Montalivet turn right. After 9km you will come to the Montalivet Beach.

Car from the south: Take the exit 7 off the Rocade towards Lacanau on the N215 - Follow signs to Lacanau on the D6. At Sainte Hélène, turn right onto the D104 towards Brach. Then follow signs to Carcans. Continue north for about 30km, passing through Hourtin until you reach Vendays-Montalivet. At the roundabout in the village of Vendays-Montalivet turn left. After 9km you will come to Montalivet.

Bus: Citram runs the "Trans-Gironde" bus route.
